Litha, Summer Solstice Celebration Ceremony with Marcela Enriquez Wakeham
2020 LITHA SUMMER SOLSTICE
20th June 2020
As the days lengthen in the Northern Hemisphere, we approach Litha, also known as the summer solstice. The summer solstice is a celebration of the longest day of the year when Mother Earth’s orbit around the sun reaches its greatest distance from the equator, where our proximity to the sun, being our source of light, is most intimate.
It is remarked as a celebration of the union between the heavens and earth. The earth is a woman and the sun the source of information, is her partner. The sun with his rays fecund the Earth dressing her up with green.
For us this union Symbolise the balance of our male and female energies within ourselves. I would like to offer a shamanic journey meditation to feel our divine duality to form a totality. A celebration of our cosmic energies.
You will need for this ceremony a crystal of your preference to work with, and dress up your altar or shrine with candles and flowers.
