UMEspace with Johanna Horvarth – Mindful Yoga
The practice of mindful yoga is a journey that we make one breath at a time, teaching us how to bring ourselves to each moment and flow our way into a more blissful state. It’s a smooth flowing practice that requires paying attention and being fully present when you are moving to connect mind, breath and body. The main focus is on mind-body awareness, as opposed to alignment details and the exact physical posture.
Mindfulness can help relieve stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, improve sleep and general well-being and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties.
I will be sharing mindfulness tips/ exercises how to take yoga beyond the mat to manage stress and anxiety in every day life and we will be working towards creating a healthy and loving relationship with ourselves!
