Lucy Bundy
Meet Lucy
Lucy has worked for over 20 years with children and families as a creative arts therapist, a teacher, and a youth worker. She has worked with diverse groups of people in education and training, public health, social services and mental health settings.
Lucy offers individual therapeutic support to children and their parents or carers, or to a child and their parent/carer together if they wish to attend as a pair. Lucy trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama as a dramatherapist. She is a qualified Arts Therapist (MA Drama and Movement Therapy, distinction) and is registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (ref no: AS20015). She is a member of BADTH (British Association of Dramatherapists).
Lucy has also trained as a Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapist (Levels 1 and 2) and her work is DDP informed. Lucy combines elements of dramatherapy and DDP principles in her work to provide nurturing, therapeutic support that is simultaneously in-depth and safely held, and creative and playful.
Lucy is a mum to an autistic little boy and has lived experience of special needs parenting and all the challenges and rewards that this can bring. Lucy is a calm and friendly person and brings these qualities to her practice.
Lucy works as a trainer and designs and delivers innovative, forum theatre based training (from a trauma informed perspective) to a wide range of organisations.
