Rachael Lee
Meet Rachael
Having experienced a rewarding corporate career in project management and consultancy, after thirteen years I was ready to move onto something more fulfilling and personal to my values. I found myself being drawn to counselling and wanting to find my place in the world helping others, whilst continuing to understand myself at the deepest level available to me.
I have always been passionate about wellbeing in all its forms, be it emotional, mental or physical and alongside my counselling studies, am gaining experience working with vulnerable adults in mental health recovery work, which informs my compassionate, respectful and empathic way of communicating with individuals. I believe being truly heard, understood and accepted for who you are, without judgement and with authenticity is a precious experience that we all deserve, and this is what I strive to offer.
I’m a registered student member with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work using a person-centred approach, which is rooted in the belief that all beings have the capacity to grow when offered a safe environment where they are valued, understood and empowered. The therapeutic journey is led by the client at their pace and I will work collaboratively alongside them to support their process, whatever this means for them.
